How to Install Windows 11 Home without a Microsoft Account?

How to Install Windows 11 with a Local Account?

There are many ways to install Windows 11. In this guide, you will read the instructions to install Windows 11 using a bootable USB flash drive. If you wish to install Windows 11 using this method, then you must change your UEFI or BIOS settings.

These settings are different on every device. If you wish to get specific details about the BIOS settings, then you must visit the manufacturer support website.

Below are the simple steps that you are required to follow in order to install Windows 11 with a local account. 

Step 1: Turn on your PC using your Windows 11 USB flash drive. 

Step 2: Press any key on the keyboard. 

Step 3: Hit the Next button. 

Step 4: After that, click on the "Install Now" button. 

Step 5: Select the option of "I don't have a product key" in case you are reinstalling. 

Step 6: Choose the Windows 11 Home edition if required. 

Step 7: Check the option of "I accept the license terms". 

Step 8: Select the button of "Next". 

Step 9: After that, click on the "Custom: Install Windows Only (Advanced") option. 

Step 10: Select every partition of the hard drive on which you want to install Windows 11. After that, select the Delete button. Generally, drive 0 is the drive that has all the installation files. 

Step 11: Now, install Windows 11 by selecting drive 0 unallocated space. 

Step 12: Select Next. After that, choose the region setting. 

Step 13: Now, it will ask you whether it is the right country or region. Select Yes. 

Step 14: Choose the keyboard layout method and then click on Yes. 

Step 15: If you don't wish to configure a second layout, then click on Skip. 

Step 16: If you have an ethernet connection, then your PC will automatically connect to the network. If you have a Wi-Fi network, then you need to connect your PC to Wi-Fi manually. 

Step 17: After that, confirm your computer's name. 

Step 18: Select Next and then your computer will restart automatically. 

Step 19: Turn off your internet to complete the offline account setup. 

Step 20: Go to the upper-left corner of the screen and then select the back button. 

Step 21: Enter a name to create a local account. Now, create a strong password for Windows 11 local account.  

Step 22: Select Next and then confirm the password. 

Step 23: Select Next and then answer the security questions that you may need in future to reset your password. 

Step 24: Choose Privacy Settings and then select Next and then finally select Accept.
