1) Restart Your PC

  • Select File and then go running the new task. 
  • Now, a create new task window will open up before you. Enter cmd in the blank section and then select OK. 
  • After that, paste the code mentioned below to launch CMD. 
  • reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\IrisService /f && shutdown -r -t 0
  • After that, press enter and then your device will restart. 

Now check whether your taskbar is working or not. In case it isn't working, then apply the next solution.  

2) Reset Your Clock

Step 1: Press the Windows key and R key simultaneously. 

Step 2: Type control.exe in the search area and then select Ok. 

Step 3: Select the option of Clock and Region. 

Step 4: Now, select Date and Time. 

Step 5: After that, go to the tab of Internet Time. 

Step 6: Then, Change Settings. 

Step 7: Go back to the Date and Time tab and then choose the option of Change Dae and Time. 

Step 8: Select a future date and then click on OK. 

3) Uninstall Updates

Step 1: Press Windows and X key simultaneously to launch Task Manager. 

Step 2: Select the File option and then Run new task. 

Step 3: Enter control.exe in the blank section of the pop-up and then click on OK. 

Step 4: Select Programs by going to the Control Panel window. 

Step 5: Select the option of View installed updates under Programs and Features. 

Step 6: Go to the option of Update for Microsoft Windows and right-click on it. Now, uninstall the same.

Step 7: Restart your computer. Now, check if your taskbar is working properly or not. If the issue is fixed, then great. In case it is not fixed, then try the next solution. 

4) Restart Specific Services

Step 1: Go to the Start menu and then right-click on it. Now, select Task Manager from the options appearing before you.

Step 3: Start searching for the Windows Explorer service. 

Step 4: Right-click on the same and then click on Restart. 

Step 5: Now, go to the Details tab. Select specific services that you don't need and then click on End Task for each of them.
